Automation reminders

Understand the single next-day reminder, its prerequisites and deduplication.
An Automation reminder is one follow-up using the initial Survey Invitation. It is not a new Survey and it does not repeat indefinitely.
Configure the reminder
From the left sidebar, select Automations, select New automation or Edit, and use the Send one reminder checkbox. The current configuration supports exactly one reminder, due 1,440 minutes—the following day—after the calculated initial due time. Select the Save changes button.
The reminder has its own idempotent automation/stay/reminder key, so repeated processor runs return the same stage instead of creating duplicates. It uses the active Survey reminder message template for the resolved delivery language and reuses the initial invitation link.
When it sends or skips
The reminder cannot proceed without an initial communication that has a Survey Invitation and token. If these are unavailable, ELUNIA records the reminder Communication as Skipped. Before provider sending it checks again: a completed response, Completed/Revoked/Expired invitation, or inactive Automation makes the reminder no longer eligible and Skipped. A suppressed recipient becomes Suppressed. Provider problems follow normal queued, sending, sent or failed handling.
The initial message may itself be Skipped because of contact, Survey, Automation or template readiness. In that case a reminder does not repair or replace it. Disabling reminders or pausing the Automation affects future processing; it does not recall an already sent message or alter historical Communication snapshots.
Troubleshoot
Select the Automation’s View activity button to find the reminder occurrence, then select its communication detail where available. Also use Delivery logs from the Settings area. Distinguish a reminder Skipped as no longer eligible from a Failed provider attempt. Survey opened means the guest opened the Survey link, not that the email client reported an email open.
The Property departure reminder is a staff digest for manual Stays and is unrelated to this Guest Survey reminder.
