Surveys overview

2 min read

Understand the Surveys list, filters, statuses, access and historical response safety.

Find a survey by journey

Open Surveys. Cards are grouped into Pre-arrival, During the stay, and After checkout. Each is a different opportunity to hear from guests: plans before arrival, issues while they are staying, and feedback after departure.

Use Search, Property, Status, and Guest languages detected, then Filter. The language filter reflects property guest preferences, not every bundled or saved translation. A card's status is separate from its language readiness. For many languages, compact flags and a count keep the card short; expand the language details to read every native name and readiness state.

Preview, edit or review deletion

Preview opens the guest presentation in a modal. Choose a guest language and inspect questions and Thank You content; closing it returns to the same list. Preview creates no response, accepts no setup review and changes no sending rule.

Edit opens Survey Builder directly. Use its Questions, Languages, Sending and Thank You sections for the corresponding task. Delete opens the safe lifecycle review. Used surveys are not silently erased: setup selection, automation rules, translations, preparations, invitations, responses or other protected history can block permanent deletion. See Survey lifecycle for remove, stop, archive and delete.

Unassigned and additional surveys

Needs journey assignment contains legacy surveys whose journey ELUNIA cannot reliably determine. They remain accessible. Assign journey offers exactly the three real touchpoints and preserves identity/content/history; it creates no duplicate and activates no workflow. Repeating the same assignment is safe. A survey with active sending needs its rules reviewed before changing journey.

Setup selection is separate: an unassigned survey fills no Step 4 slot. + Add survey in setup adds a compatible survey alongside existing selections and requires its own content review. Merely assigning a journey on this list does not complete setup or enable sending.

Create and continue

Use Create from template for the Template Library or Create survey for your own content, when your role permits. Check the property and touchpoint before creating. Completed responses preserve the wording and scoring meaning captured at submission even if you later edit the survey.

Next: Survey Builder, Template Library, or Seven-step setup.

A journey can contain multiple selected surveys. Use + Add survey in Setup Step 4. Each survey retains its own lifecycle, review acceptance and sending configuration; Draft does not mean that review acceptance is missing.
