Today overview

Today is the default home for daily work. It changes as your Business moves from first setup to real feedback activity. Every result is limited to the current Business and the Properties your role can access.

During first setup

Today highlights the next missing stage with one main action and compact setup navigation. The stages are Property, Rooms / accommodation units, Guests, Survey, Languages, Sending and Go live. Completed stages can be revisited; visiting a page alone does not change progress. Logo upload belongs in Property, and Units can be created in setup or while adding a Stay.

During normal operation

After explicit Go live, Today shows real operational data even before the first completed Response: Guest Pulse, Needs attention, Today’s stays, and operational warnings. Open the Settings navigation link, then the Property setup card to revisit setup. Completed setup has no permanent Today card. Empty metrics remain empty; setup completion does not invent feedback.

First feedback remains a separate historical milestone. Later problems do not erase it. Newly relevant languages and stale translations produce direct translation/update actions without automatically starting AI. Stay, delivery and account warnings link to the affected records or action.

Scope and empty states

Owners and administrators see all Properties in the current Business. Managers, staff and viewers see only assigned Properties. Staff receive an additional assignment restriction inside the full Attention Center, while the Today summary itself uses accessible Property scope.

A zero means no matching record was counted. A dash in Guest Pulse means there was not enough matching evidence to calculate that value. An empty list is not proof that the wider Business has no data; it may reflect Property access, the current time window or the item limit.

Today does not change Stay statuses, repair configuration, send messages or resolve issues automatically.

If your guided setup is incomplete or unconfirmed, Today shows Complete your setup, the next step number, and Continue setup. Historical activation does not hide this action.

In Settings, select the Property setup card to reopen completed setup. An optional disabled sending rule is not a warning. If automatic sending has no active rule, Today shows Automatic sending needs attention and Fix sending. Missing-email alerts use View affected guests or Add guest email.

After first activation

The first Go live opens Your guest experience is live!, summarizing the actual activated experiences, ready languages and manual/automatic sending. Refreshing or revisiting does not replay the celebration or activation. Continue to operational Today; the first response remains a separate milestone. To revisit setup use Settings → Property setup.
