How Apaleo synchronization works
2 mins read
Understand automatic updates to rooms, reservations, guests and Stays.
What stays synchronized
After the first synchronization and any required review, ELUNIA continues updating rooms/Units and reservations automatically. Reservation changes update the linked Stay, including arrival and departure dates, assigned room and status. Apaleo remains the source for the connected reservation details; change those details in Apaleo when ELUNIA shows Synced with Apaleo.
Confirmed reservations appear as upcoming Stays. Check-in becomes Checked in, checkout becomes Checked out, cancellation becomes Cancelled, and an explicit no-show becomes No-show. A no-show is not a completed stay. ELUNIA does not infer a no-show just because the arrival date passed.
Guest records use the guest identity supplied with the reservation. An existing linked reservation keeps its Guest and Stay; this is not a complete copy of every Apaleo guest-profile field. A usable email address is needed for email communication.
Updates and manual refresh
Updates are automatic but may take time. Read Last synchronized on the Apaleo page. Up to date indicates recent successful synchronization; Synchronization delayed means an update is overdue or temporarily unsuccessful.
The Sync now button on the Apaleo page is an optional immediate refresh, useful after a known change or when support asks you to retry. It is not needed for routine operation. If synchronization is already in progress, let it finish.
Guest messaging stays separate. If an update does not appear, see Troubleshooting Apaleo.
