Manual Survey invitations

2 min read

Create or schedule a secure Survey link and interpret invitation and delivery evidence correctly.

Create a secure Survey invitation

Use a manual invitation for an eligible Stay when you want to create a one-time survey link or schedule its send. Open Guests and Stays from the left sidebar, open the Guest and the relevant Stay, then choose the Create survey link action. You need access to the Stay’s Property and permission to update the selected Survey.

The form lists only active Surveys belonging to the same Business and Property. Choose the Survey dropdown, the Delivery language dropdown, and optionally Schedule. The delivery language offers the source language and published translations. ELUNIA prefers the guest language when usable, then applies the configured safe fallback.

  1. Confirm the guest and Property shown at the top.
  2. Choose an active Survey.
  3. Choose the guest-facing delivery language.
  4. Leave scheduling empty for a secure link shown once, or set a future time for queued delivery.
  5. Choose Generate link.

An immediate secret link is displayed only once. A scheduled invitation stores the token encrypted until dispatch and can be cancelled with Cancel scheduled send only before dispatch or completion. There is no general resend action on this screen; create another eligible invitation only when product rules permit it.

Understand evidence

Pending/Queued means work is waiting. Sent means the transport accepted it, not that the inbox received it. Delivered is separate provider evidence. Opened means the Survey link was opened, not email-open tracking. Completed means a response was submitted. Expired and Revoked links cannot submit.

Missing guest email or suppressed/invalid delivery details can block email sending, although an immediate link can still be copied where offered. Inactive Surveys, mismatched Properties, expired commercial access, or disallowed roles are blocked. Integration-managed Stay identity does not change these Survey eligibility checks.

See Check sending readiness, Survey languages, and Survey Responses.

When the guest language needs preparation

Selecting a historical Guest does not add every historical guest language to activation readiness. This form checks the selected Guest. If their communication language is unprepared or needs review, a warning appears. Authorized editors can follow the Prepare guest language link, or explicitly choose a usable alternative in the Delivery language dropdown before generating the link. No AI work starts automatically.
